Hi @arulsubra, Excuse me for the lengthy wait here.
Yes, if tags exist on the candidate profiles in Eightfold, you can export a list of candidates who have a given tag (or any tag) via Data Hub exports or downstream BI/reporting. Eightfold supports tagging on candidate profiles, including user-added tags and tags that can be synced from integrated systems, and those tags are available as part of candidate data for reporting/extract purposes.
Key requirement
- The tag(s) must actually be present on the candidate profiles in Eightfold (whether applied manually/bulk by your TA team, applied via workflows, or synced from another system).
Recommended approach: Data Hub (for an exportable list)
The most reliable way to generate an exportable “list of candidates with tag X” is to query Data Hub for candidates and filter on the tag field(s), then export the result set for reporting/BI use. Data Hub is designed for ad hoc querying and generating exports for dashboards/reports.
If you need “any tag” vs. “a specific tag”
- Specific tag: filter your candidate dataset to only those candidates where the tag list contains your target value.
- Any tag: filter to candidates where the tag list is not empty.
Historical applications / “tagged based on historical applications”
If your TA team applied tags based on historical application context (for example, “Silver Medalist”), those are still just candidate tags—so they’ll be included in the same tag-based export as long as the tags were applied to the candidate profile in Eightfold.
If your question is about searching with multiple tags (AND vs OR)
Separate from reporting/export: the UI tag filters in Candidate Advanced Search / Communities commonly behave like OR matching (returning candidates with either tag), which sometimes surprises users expecting AND behavior.
