Candidate Feedback Notifications Enhancement

We want to include the recruiter in the interview feedback notifications that go between the Recruiting Coordinators and the hiring manager.

There are some recruiters that work with Recruiting Coordinators who will screen candidates and request feedback on those candidates from the hiring manager.  When the hiring manager provides that feedback the notification goes to the Recruiting Coordinator (the person that requested it) and the recruiter has no knowledge that the feedback has been provided.  We are asking if it’s possible to copy the recruiter on that notification that the feedback has been provided by the hiring manager so that they are aware and can take the next steps with those candidates.

Hi @EatonNancyLuck, Excuse us for the lengthly wait. Yes, there is a standard way for recruiters to be notified when feedback is submitted, regardless of who originally initiated the request.

What is possible today

  • Feedback Notifications: Recruiters can receive a “feedback submitted” email notification when an interviewer or hiring manager submits an interview feedback form (provided a form is associated with the scheduled meeting).

  • Default Behavior: Current guidance notes that while schedulers may not receive certain scheduling notifications by default, recruiters do receive the “feedback submitted” email once that feedback is finalized in the system.

Important nuance: CC vs. Separate Notification

Based on the available materials, the standard behavior is a notification email sent directly to the recruiter upon feedback submission.

The documentation does not explicitly describe a way to configure a true "CC" (where the recruiter is copied on the exact same email thread sent to the requester). Instead, it is a separate automated notification triggered by the act of submitting the feedback.

Additional info needed on your workflow

To ensure this fits your process perfectly, could you clarify if you are using:

  1. Interview Feedback (linked to a specifically scheduled meeting)

  2. Quick Feedback (adhoc requests)
