How Open Scheduling Works

According to the documentation, the Open Scheduling link functions as follows:

• Availability-Based Booking: It shows available time slots based on the calendar(s) attached to the link. It is designed as a booking flow, not a general calendar viewer.

• Template-Driven: It is powered by an "Open" type scheduling template. You can configure parameters like the interviewer availability window and conferencing options, but there is no documented option to change the UI into a full calendar view.

• Real-Time Sync: The system pulls open slots in real-time based on the interviewer’s current availability.

What you can configure instead

If your goal is to adjust booking flexibility, the available configuration points are:

• Link & Template Selection: The Open Scheduling link combined with your chosen Open template (this impacts link behavior and conferencing).

• Interview Preferences: You can manage availability and preferences via Account → Calendar/My Calendar, which the system uses to determine which slots to show.

If you truly need “full calendar visibility”

A "full calendar visibility" feature is outside what is described for Eightfold Open Scheduling links. These links are strictly intended for candidates to book from available slots, rather than exposing full, detailed calendar views.
