We have enabled skill design and are able to see skill definitions in the TA module. However we arent seeing them show up for employees even though the admin console implies it would be visible when enabled.

Hi Drew - Here you go: Display Skill Definitions/Descriptions across Career Hub beyond assessments. | Community

Hi @Ben W., Yes, we are able to display skill definitions to employees in the Career Hub. When hovering over the skill name in the skill assessment section, definitions appear in a pop-up modal. However, these definitions will only be visible if they have been ingested into the skill taxonomy configuration. If you do not see the skill definitions, we recommend checking with your Eightfold admin to ensure that the skill taxonomy has been properly configured.

Please let me know if this is helpful.

Hi Drew - Are the definitions only available in skill assessments?

Hi @Ben W., Excuse me for the delay. I’ve been trying to verify this. I believe the definitions of skills are primarily available in the “Required By Role” skills tab within the skill assessment feature. I’ve CC’d the product lead so they can answer confidently. @araveendran

Hi All - Thank you for the details. I will be logging an idea to display skill definitions across career hub. While critical for assessments, it is also very valuable for development planning, talent acquisitions and just reinforcing our enterprise skills language across the organization.
