Application Status on My Jobs page should not update to inactive statuses until a decline email is sent to candidates

When our recruiters decline candidates, the decline email defaults to sending the following day, so that candidates are not rejected too quickly. Right now if the candidate views their applications on the My Jobs tab, they could potentially see they are no longer in consideration for the role before the email is delivered to them. To ensure we have a positive candidate experience, we would like the visible status on My Jobs to coincide with the sending of the decline email.
